You wake up in a very small room in front of a very large TV, with no memory of how you got there or who you are. In this satirical interactive fiction by Mike Vollmer (probabilityZero), you compete in an absurd game show, avoid elimination on the island, become the President of the United States, and watch the downfall of humanity, all while basking in the calming glow of a television screen.
The latest release of the game, Release 2, is available. It fixes some of the major bugs in the original release. You can download a ZIP archive that includes everything you need to play it on a windows PC, play the game right now (using Java Web Start), or download the glulx story file by itself (pick up a glulx interpreter here).
Please note that Release 2 is still a work in progress as of this moment, but it is still much better than the original competition entry. The first release of this game can be found here (Glulx story file, entered in IFComp ‘08).
