Henri Beauchamp

You have a chance to see an exclusive exhibit of the lost works of artist Henri Beauchamp, but you must prove you’re a devotee of the art to get in.
An Interactive Fiction based on an old creepypasta (nickname for a creepy story), this game is rather short and easy, but has a unique story and multiple endings. It requires multiple plays to see all the content. In addition, it includes an in-game help/hint menu, and is suitable for IF beginners.
You can play it now in your web browser (java applet), download a zip archive to play the game in Windows (recommended), or download the story file. To play the story file, you’ll need a z-machine interpreter. There are interpreters available for Windows, Mac, Linux, PocketPC, and more. An alternate z5 file is available here for compatibility purposes.
The game is rather graphic at times, and is probably not appropriate for children. You don’t have to know anything about the original story to play this game.
The zip for the Windows executable above uses WinFrotz, an open source interpreter licenced under GPL. I’ve gotten reports that the zip archive above setting off anti-virus. I’m sure this is just a false positive, but if you’re worried, you can download the story file and the interpreter separately.
