10th anniversary of Carl Sagan’s death

The truth may be puzzling. It may take some work to grapple with. It may be counterintuitive. It may contradict deeply held prejudices. It may not be consonant with what we desperately want to be true. But our preferences do not determine what’s true.

interesting that giant like sagan rates “no response” on the 10th anniversary of his death. I rememeber reading his book “Contact” and found it clumsy…but a good story. Sorry Carl… I do miss his enthusiasm and his juicy speech impediment. He had a large intellect and was good at explaining things to mere mortals. But alas, he’s dead and forgotten in only 10 years. Proof to us all that we aren’t much but a bag sucking wind.
