The conservatives’ favorite Democrat, now independent, recently went on CBS’s “Face the Nation” and said:
I think we’ve got to be prepared to take aggressive military action against the Iranians to stop them from killing Americans in Iraq
This goes beyond even the Bush administration’s position on Iran. Lieberman pisses me off.

I’m not really worried about us invading iran…. they’d never do that, and they couldn’t even if they wanted to. our troops are used up and they’ll be out of office in 08.
Are we sure Lieberman’s not a neo-conservative Republican? It’s easy for him to say attack Iran as he’s sitting in a cushy office making (at least) six figures. If he was the one who had to pick up a gun and fight, I’m sure he’d tuck tail and run.
